The work, which will take place on Palombar street, has been assigned to a firm specializing in demolition and civil engineering projects. The award budget amounts to 21,803.31 euros, plus the corresponding VAT, with an execution period set at eight months and a twelve-month warranty period.
The work plan will be divided into two distinct stages. The first phase will focus on preliminary tasks to access the building and recover personal items and belongings still inside the homes. Subsequently, the second phase will consist of the full demolition of the block, using selective techniques to optimize waste management and ensure the safe removal of hazardous materials.
The bidding process involved five companies. The winning firm achieved the highest score due to its technical experience in similar projects over the last decade. Once the contract is formalized, the company will have six weeks to draft the technical project, the safety study, and the waste management plan, which will serve as the basis for the future tender for the demolition works.
