Elche's City Council Culture Department has detailed an offering that includes music, comedy, theater, and shows for all ages, aiming to solidify La Llotja as a venue appreciated by both creators and audiences. The program seeks to attract visitors from other municipalities, as highlighted by the area's councilor, Irene Ruiz.
In the music scene, performances include Rufus T. Firefly presenting their new album, ‘La Perra Blanco’, a current rock and roll reference, and Santero y Los Muchachos with their latest work. Cultural programmer Manuel Muñoz emphasized the presence of three major concerts, alongside local talent such as RqueR, the 30th anniversary of Blues Power, ‘Cuéntame un Blues 2’, and the debut album presentation by Extensores Automáticos.
The musical offerings are complemented by the tribute show ‘Sabina en las venas’ by the band 500 Noches, designed for singing and dancing, and the musical ‘Generación 1983’, inspired by 80s hits and the 'Stranger Things' soundtrack.
Theater and comedy will also play a significant role. The venue will host the comedy ‘Pepa, no me des tormento’, starring Beatriz Rico, and ‘Orgasmos’. In comedy, Agustín Jiménez will present ‘Generacional’, Sil de Castro will star in ‘Noches de Chicas’, and Abraham Martín will bring his ‘Comedy Padel Tour’. The season kicks off on October 2nd with José Luis Calero and ‘Humorista de guardia’.
One of the semester's highlights will be the celebration of Maracaibo Teatro's 30th anniversary on Saturday, December 12th, featuring a gala and the family productions ‘A jugar’ and their latest work ‘¡Viva la vida!’, both on Sunday the 13th.
The family program also includes shows like ‘Color Boom – La Fábrica de Colores’, ‘Peke Tube Fest’, ‘Draculina’, and ‘La casita de chocolate’. The new year will begin with ‘Dreaming Bubbles 2’, an international bubble show from Italy, and ‘Dos payasos con mucha magia’, by Manolo Costa and Mindanguillo.
Irene Ruiz has invited the public to enjoy this cultural offering, emphasizing that the shows not only bring culture closer but also help revitalize the neighborhood, local businesses, and position Elche on the cultural map.
Tickets will be available through each show's sales platforms and at the La Llotja box office one hour before each performance, subject to availability. All programming and ticket information can be found at elxcultura.es.
