August nights in Elche are filled with free cultural offerings in various neighborhoods and districts. Open-air cinema will be a main attraction, with screenings on Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22. On Friday, the 8 de Marzo square in District 5 will host "Padre no hay más que uno 5" at 9:30 PM. On Saturday, the same film will be shown at the Peña de las Águilas Civic Center, while Jubalcoy will present "El casoplón" and Balsares, in the Plaza de la Iglesia, "Wolfgang (extraordinario)". All sessions are free until full capacity.
Live music will also take center stage on Saturday, August 22. At 9:30 PM, the group Stereomonos will perform at La Antina square in La Marina with their pop-rock repertoire. Later, at 10:00 PM, the Banda Sinfónica de Elche will give a concert on the San Bartolomé de Tirajana avenue promenade in Los Arenales del Sol, near the old hotel. Both performances are free.
Additionally, the program coincides with the final days to visit the exhibition "Llévame contigo: La Dama", organized by the Real Orden de la Dama de Elche at Las Clarisas. The exhibition, open until Sunday, August 23, displays photographs of replicas of the Dama de Elche made worldwide, highlighting the connection of the Elche community with this heritage symbol.
Other exhibitions available include "La huella de Dionisos" at the MAHE, "Evolución y Síntesis: 1989-2026" by Cristina Navarro at the MACE, a display from the Hort del Xocolater Painting School at the Lonja Medieval, and "La juguetería del pasado. Construyendo sueños" at the Museu Escolar de Puçol.
