Redevelopment works around the Martínez Valero stadium in Elche are advancing at a good pace, aiming to transform one of the main access points to the sports venue and surrounding residential and industrial areas before the end of the year.

The project, covering nearly 25,000 square meters and involving an investment of 3.2 million euros, includes the creation of new roads, two roundabouts, accessible sidewalks, landscaped medians, new lighting, urban furniture, and parking areas. The goal is to significantly improve mobility and safety, both daily and during Elche CF matches and major events.
For the initial league matches, particularly the upcoming one on Sunday, August 23rd, against FC Barcelona, fans will be able to park almost normally in their usual spots. Additionally, a special public transport service has been arranged, reinforcing lines F, K1, and K2 for entry and stops 356 and 320 for departures towards the city center.
During the execution of the various construction phases, traffic diversions and temporary signage will be implemented to cause minimal inconvenience to fans.
A key part of the project is the construction of the Manuel Martínez Valero avenue, a new road approximately 375 meters long and 26 meters wide, featuring four lanes, a central median, and sidewalks on both sides. Concurrently, José Esquitino Sempere avenue will be built, about 410 meters long, also with four lanes, a central median, parallel parking, and a 10-meter-wide pedestrian promenade. The project includes two new roundabouts to improve traffic flow and road safety.
