On September 1st, the application period begins for municipal aid aimed at covering part of the expenses for obtaining English language certifications at levels B1, B2, C1, and C2 for young people aged 18 to 30.

The application period for this aid will extend until September 30th. This year, the aid amount for each beneficiary has been increased from 100 to 120 euros. This sum aims to cover a portion of the costs associated with obtaining English certificates at levels B1, B2, C1, and C2 for those who acquired the qualification between September 16, 2025, and September 15, 2026.
The budget allocated for this call amounts to a total of 20,000 euros. The primary objective is to contribute to the language training of young people, as well as to enhance their employability and facilitate their access to the job market.
The aid will be preferentially directed towards young people from low-income families, those in vulnerable situations, or individuals with a disability degree of 30% or higher. Additionally, applicants must be registered residents in Elche and must not have received other scholarships or aid for the same purpose.
Applications can be submitted from September 1st to September 30th through the municipal electronic headquarters (sede.elche.es) or at any OMAC office. The distribution of aid will be based on a scoring system that considers family income, the level of the obtained certificate, and disability.
In the 2025 call, a total of 118 grants were awarded to young people to cover part of the expenses for obtaining English levels B1, B2, C1, and C2.
