The Department of Philosophy of Law and the Research Group Concordia, Law and Society of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) in Elche have organized the seminar "Two Ways of Knowing Natural Law: The Territories of Hervada and Finnis". The event will take place tomorrow, Thursday, October 1st, at 11:30 AM in room 0.4 of the Altabix building on the Elche campus.
The presentation will be delivered by Eduardo Martín Acosta Yparraguirre, director of the Philosophy of Law Research Group at the San Ignacio de Loyola University in Lima (Peru). During his talk, he will address a fundamental issue in legal philosophy: how natural law can be known, by analyzing the work of professors John Finnis and Javier Hervada.
Following the presentation, a Q&A session will be opened to discuss the ideas presented. This activity is funded by the UMH Department of Legal Science and is open to the entire university community, legal professionals, and especially students of Law, Double Degree in Law and Business Administration, and Double Degree in Law and Political Science.
