The Director of the International Promotion Area of UMH, Mari Carmen Lillo, and the Head of the Service for International Relations and Cooperation, Inmaculada Blaya, presented the Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs, as well as mobility and exchange options. These events, organized by the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE), aimed to inform young people from these countries about international training.
The UMH delegation provided direct attention and personalized information to visitors at their institutional stand. The events took place at the Colegio Español Cervantes in Montevideo and, subsequently, at the Instituto Gallego Hispano-Argentino Santiago Apóstol in Buenos Aires.
During a reception at the Spanish Embassy in Montevideo, representatives from the 13 participating Spanish universities were welcomed by Ambassador Javier Salido Ortiz. This meeting addressed issues related to promoting higher education in the region and the role of Spanish universities in Latin America.
Attendees were able to resolve queries about academic programs, admission requirements, costs, financing, and scholarships. They also learned about the characteristics of the campuses and the university experience in Spain, in addition to presentations by the universities and testimonials from Alumni.
