The Miguel Hernández University (UMH), on its Elche campus, hosted a two-day international meeting for the European project PROWELL+ (Erasmus+), involving educational institutions from Spain, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

The project, led at UMH by Professor José Antonio Piqueras from the Department of Health Psychology and involving the PSYKE-UMH research team, focused the meeting on developing its intervention program. Educational materials, pilot activity planning, and next steps for implementation in schools were discussed.
The PROWELL+ initiative (Promoting Well-being and Mental Health for Basic Education Pupils and Teachers through Innovative Prevention and Intervention Programs for Primary Schools) aims to design an innovative educational program to overcome barriers, strengthening students' mental well-being and motivation. It also seeks to provide pedagogical tools that link the school curriculum with daily life, fostering meaningful learning and resilience.
The working sessions took place in the Altamira building on the Elche campus. As part of the program, participants visited the Salesianos de Elche educational center, which collaborated in the organization and helped strengthen the connection between university research and educational practice.
