The Ciutat d’Elx Congress Center hosts the III PalmeraTech Technology Congress until tomorrow, an event organized by UMH's i-MInD, ANBAN, and the Elche City Council.

The Research Institute of Mathematics, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence (i-MInD) at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) is actively participating in the organization of the III PalmeraTech Technology Congress. The event, running until Friday, October 2nd, is taking place at the Ciutat d’Elx Congress Center. This gathering, also promoted by the National Association of Big Data and Analytics (ANBAN) and the Elche City Council, has brought together professionals, companies, and specialists to share knowledge, present technological solutions, and foster new collaboration opportunities.
The congress program focuses on key topics such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and the internet of things, exploring their practical applications in sectors like health, tourism, and business management. Among the notable speakers are Antonio Ortiz and Matías S. Zavia, known for their work on the Monos Estocásticos podcast; Juan Valdés, Director of Software Development at Ryanair Labs Spain; Federico López, Head of Artificial Intelligence at Voicemod; and Marcelo Sosa, Director of Software and Data Engineering at Facephi. In addition to the presentations, the congress includes live podcasts, an exhibition area, and networking spaces for professionals and companies.
PalmeraTech is supported by the Chair for the Transformation of the Economic Model of the UMH, funded by the Conselleria d'Economia, Hisenda i Administració Pública of the Generalitat Valenciana. Among the sponsors and supporting entities are Caja Ingenieros, Brandty, IngenieroJob, Milmoh, Business Software Group (BSG), the UMH Science Park, and the Alicante Science Park.
