Proceeds from the registration donation, set at 35 euros, will be entirely allocated to the Antonio Sequeros Special Education School in Orihuela. The Councilor for Citizen Security, Mónica Pastor, explained that the congress will bring together professionals from State Security Forces and Corps from across the country, as well as companies and entities specializing in training, equipment, and police technology.
The inaugural day, September 30th, will take place at the Pedro Terol Auditorium of La Lonja. It will begin with attendee reception and accreditation, followed by the presentation of UNIJEMPOL and the Antonio Sequeros School. Subsequently, there will be lectures on the importance of local police forces, the use of force in interventions, stress management, and the use of drones, presented by experts such as Chief Superintendent Fermín Bonet (Petrer Local Police), Inspector Antonio Mira (Elche Local Police), psychologist Teresa Marín Salinas, and agent Francisco Albero (Benidorm Local Police).
In the afternoon, activities will move to the Orihuela Local Police Headquarters for practical, rotating workshops. Attendees can participate in sessions on extensible batons, tactical medicine (hemorrhage control, dragging, and use of stretchers), and firearm retention.
On October 1st, the Orihuela Local Police Training Center will host eight rotating training stations. These will include practical exercises with tools like Octopus, sessions on shooting training systems, demonstrations of OC gel launchers, modules on electronic control devices, police grappling, and an introduction to close-quarters combat (CQB).
The congress will conclude on October 2nd at the Orihuela Local Police Headquarters with the presentation and testing of new handgun models, as well as talks on housing occupation and identification of individuals for citizen security patrols.
The organization emphasizes the charitable nature of the event and recommends participants wear appropriate equipment.
