The work was completed swiftly to restore the usual use of the facilities as soon as possible and ensure users can access the center in adequate conditions.
The tasks included dismantling plasterboard from the false ceiling, repairing a wooden truss supporting the roof structure, installing silicone polymer insulation, securing loose tiles, and fitting 50 new removable plasterboard panels with a textured finish.
The Councilor for Social Welfare, Agustina Rodríguez, highlighted the speed of the intervention to allow users to return to the center promptly, ensuring the facilities were in proper condition.
Rodríguez recalled that activities organized by the Social Welfare and Sports departments continued in alternative locations during the repairs.
Following the reopening, yoga workshops will be the first to resume their usual activities at the La Murada Social Center this Tuesday, with other scheduled activities to follow progressively.
The councilor thanked users for their understanding during the work and emphasized the completion of the project, allowing them to regain access to their center.
