Torrevieja City Council has initiated the administrative procedure to facilitate the expansion of the University Hospital through the early transfer of the plot where the new health infrastructure will be located.

The council has admitted for processing the urban agreement that will allow access to the land before the re-parcelling process is completed. This action focuses on the PQM-1 public facility plot, located in the S-29 La Ceñuela sector, which has a total area of 11,492 square meters.
According to municipal technical services, this mechanism is compatible with the area's urban development and responds to the general interest in speeding up the execution of an infrastructure considered a priority for the Torrevieja Health Department. Thus, the Generalitat will be able to plan the center's expansion project more quickly.
The agreement will be subject to public information for a period of 20 days, following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province and on the municipal notice board, for the submission of allegations. Once resolved and the agreement is approved by the Local Government Board, the land transfer will be finalized.
