National Police agents have arrested a 28-year-old man in Orihuela as the alleged perpetrator of three intimidation robberies, using a knife to threaten victims.

The first incident occurred early on the morning of July 2nd, when a 58-year-old woman was about to get into her car in a parking lot. A man opened the driver's door, brandishing a knife, and demanded her belongings. The victim gave him the 40 euros she had, and the assailant fled. The woman suffered a state of anxiety requiring medical attention.
The second incident also took place on the morning of July 2nd. A man entered a grocery store armed with a knife, threatened the owner, and stole 200 euros from the cash register before fleeing.
The third robbery occurred after midnight on July 3rd. The assailant, with his face covered by a white scarf and a cap, entered through the back door of a fast-food establishment in a shopping center. Armed with a knife, he demanded money from an employee. The worker, fearing injury, handed over 300 euros from the till.
Investigators from the National Police's Judicial Police Brigade launched a swift investigation, collecting surveillance footage and detailed victim statements. Through the analysis of evidence collected by the Local Scientific Police Brigade, the perpetrator was fully identified in all criminal acts.
The detainee, after police proceedings, has been handed over to the on-duty investigating courts of Orihuela, who ordered his immediate imprisonment.
