As part of operation 'Suebicum', agents searched four properties, two of which served as clandestine laboratories for the substance's production. The investigation began in March, initially focusing on burglaries and violent robberies, which led to the identification of the criminal group.
Evidence gathered confirmed that the properties were used as 'tusi' sale points, with the drug primarily distributed in Torrevieja's entertainment areas. With support from the USECIC of Alicante and Torrevieja, searches were conducted, resulting in the seizure of 12 grams of 'tusi', 30 grams of amphetamine, 820 euros in cash, and equipment for drug preparation and dosage.
Health authorities warn of the risks associated with 'tusi', a mixture of psychotropic substances like ketamine, MDMA, or amphetamines, which can cause overdoses, psychotic episodes, or anxiety attacks due to its random composition.
Ten of the detainees have been released under precautionary measures, while one was already in prison for violent robbery offenses.
