The event, taking place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the Fora del Forat promenade, is organized by the Vinaròs Lacemakers Group, part of the FPA Municipal Council Students Association.
The Councilor for Tourism, Mercedes García, highlighted that the meeting not only celebrates a gathering but also a long history of dedication, learning, and appreciation for the traditional art of bobbin lace. García acknowledged the efforts of those who have kept this tradition alive for 25 years and called upon individuals with expertise to resume courses and ensure its transmission.
For their part, Pili Fontanet, a member of the Vinaròs Lacemakers Group, expressed gratitude to the participating towns and confirmed the attendance of approximately 260 lacemakers.
The event will feature a workshop led by teachers from Barcelona, several surprises to commemorate the 25th anniversary, and a musical performance by Les Camaraes.
The organization encourages all citizens to attend this event, whether they are already familiar with bobbin lace or wish to discover this tradition.
