The town of Sant Jordi has concluded a new edition of 'Degusta Culturas' with a very positive balance, consolidating it as a proposal that combines gastronomy, coexistence, and solidarity.

The event, held in the Plaza Mayor, successfully gathered residents and visitors in a festive atmosphere. The initiative offered tastings of international tapas prepared by people from various backgrounds, thus representing the cultural richness of the municipality through its flavors.
The day served to bid farewell to the summer cultural program organized by the City Council, revitalizing the center of Sant Jordi. In addition to the tapas, a packed lunch and bar service were available, creating a space for meeting and exchange.

"The success of ‘Degusta Culturas’ demonstrates, once again, that Sant Jordi is an open, welcoming municipality with an enormous capacity to organize activities that bring together people from different backgrounds around something as universal as gastronomy."

Iván Sánchez Cifre · Mayor of Sant Jordi
The Mayor, Iván Sánchez Cifre, highly praised the celebration, highlighting the magnificent reception and the presence of residents and visitors sharing experiences. He thanked all participants for their involvement in organizing and preparing the tapas.
One of the notable aspects was the event's solidarity component. The funds raised will be donated to Vinacae, an organization that works with young people and families. Thus, the festival combined its festive nature with social collaboration.

"It is especially important that an activity like this also has a solidarity purpose. Besides enjoying our cultures, we have been able to contribute our bit to an organization that works for people and families."
